I Believe: God the Father - Matthew 6:7-15 & Matthew 7:7-11

Today we are kicking off a new series entitled “I Believe” As we are growing and people are receiving Christ right now and God is doing amazing stuff, we are going to study the Apostle’s Creed. The Creed is a short memorizable statement that summarizes Bible verses to help us express what we believe. Today we are talking about who God is and what that means for us. I believe in God the Father. If you want to dig a little deeper, we have copies of the book Credo and you can check out Luther’s Small Catechism.

Eat With Your Neighbors - Matthew 9:9-13

There may be no activity that moves a relationship from acquaintance to friendship more quickly than when you EAT and share a meal together. We eat a lot together, that is we frequently get together around food. And that’s not just because I like to cook; Jesus models this for us in his ministry. Seems like he was always eating with people, sometimes He was miraculously feeding people. If it’s good for Jesus it’s good for us too, so we eat with people.
