The story is recorded in 2 Kings and it still impacts our lives today. Who will you be buried with? Everyone who believes in Jesus and is baptized is buried with Christ. Ever feel like your life is a dumpster fire? Do you ever look at your life and think, "Well that's not good." And then it gets worse? As we sing Trust in God, we confess faith in God who saves us. What does it mean when we sing, Jesus is "our fourth man in the fire." What is the backstory for this worship song? Today we are going to read the prophet Daniel who tells us about a day when his friends got thrown into a fire because they trusted God. And then Jesus stood with them in the fire. Jesus is with you even when you're in the fire.
