Have you ever felt alone? Like everyone you depend on has abandoned you? Psalm 42 predict that Jesus would be "forsaken" as He suffered on the cross and gave His life for us. Jesus was forsaken so we never have to experience that with God. Jesus promises He will never leave us or forsake us. Jesus thank you for promising to be with us, help us to rely on you when we feel all alone. Jesus in the Psalms - Psalm 2:1-12
We are kicking off a new series, called Summer in the Psalms. for the next few weeks we get to encounter Jesus in the Psalms. The whole Old Testament points forward to the coming of Jesus the Messiah. Psalm 2 reveals the coming Messiah is the Son of God, and yet the nations rage against God's Anointed because the want their own way. So who do you think is in charge of your life? Are you raging or rejoicing in the Son of God?
