As we live life it's easy for us to take it for granted. We wake up in the morning and we live life. But who gave us life? Who makes us really alive? God is the giver of life that is eternal.This life leads to death but the life God gives is eternal. That's real life. You turn bones into armies and into gardens.

Ever feel like your life is a dumpster fire? Do you ever look at your life and think, "Well that's not good." And then it gets worse? As we sing Trust in God, we confess faith in God who saves us. What does it mean when we sing, Jesus is "our fourth man in the fire." What is the backstory for this worship song? Today we are going to read the prophet Daniel who tells us about a day when his friends got thrown into a fire because they trusted God. And then Jesus stood with them in the fire. Jesus is with you even when you're in the fire.

Happy Easter!!! What are you looking for? Every time I think about Easter I remember kids running around looking for Easter eggs filled with candy. But the first people looking for something on Easter were the women looking for Jesus in the tomb. We are all looking for something or someone. No matter how hard we are looking we won't find what we are looking for in a tomb. Jesus is alive! Life is hard. Today we celebrate Palm Sunday, remembering the day Jesus rode into Jerusalem as King. The crowds praised God and cheered for Jesus to take the thrown, but Jesus didn’t give them what they wanted. Days later Jesus gave them what needed as he gave his life on the cross. Life is hard for us too and Jesus doesn’t give us everything we want. Life is hard, so we pray. And Jesus gives us what we need.
