How Are You Doing? - Deuteronomy 6:4-9

Over the next 6 weeks we are asking you, "How are you doing?" I'm actually asking you 5 questions. How are you doing Physically, Mentally, Emotionally, Spiritually, and Relationally? We are going to take a look under our hoods and check out how we are doing and then hear from God's Word how God meets us where we are. Scared to Serve? - Matthew 25:14-30

Jesus tells us a story about a few servants who have different results when it comes to serving their Master. One person is so scared to do it wrong that they don't serve God at all. Have you ever been scared to serve? At it's heart, when we are scared to serve God, we have a wrong idea of who God is and what God does. What has God given you and how are you serving Him with it? Serve Now? - Luke 4:38-41

Wait! What?! Now?! Serve now? I love Simon's mother-in-law's serving heart and serving timing. One minute she is sick in bed, the next she is serving dinner to Jesus and the guys. If you have been waiting for the time to get involved, now's the time! We get to serve God and our neighbors right now. Jesus Stays with Us - Psalm 22

Have you ever felt alone? Like everyone you depend on has abandoned you? Psalm 42 predict that Jesus would be "forsaken" as He suffered on the cross and gave His life for us. Jesus was forsaken so we never have to experience that with God. Jesus promises He will never leave us or forsake us. Jesus thank you for promising to be with us, help us to rely on you when we feel all alone. Jesus Eats with Enemies - Psalm 41

I love cooking for family and friends! And I don't think I have enemies, but we all have people who we don't get along with. What's it like to eat dinner with someone who stabs you in the back? Psalm 41 predicts that Jesus would eat dinner with the man who betrayed him. How does that impact us and our dinner guests? Jesus knew who would betray him, and he ate with him anyway, that's what love looks like. Recorded live at Word of Life Church in Le Sueur, Minnesota, on Sunday, July 19, 2026, with Pastor Jason Lang preaching.
