ABOUT THE EVENT
What do you wish you had known at the beginning — and why does it still matter now?
New Prague Forward is a morning gathering for business owners, professionals, and community builders in and around New Prague. Five local leaders will share short, honest talks rooted in their own experience — the lessons they learned the hard way, the things nobody told them, and what they'd go back and say to themselves at the start.
This isn't a conference. It's a conversation. Come ready to listen, connect, and leave with something you can actually use.

Nick has built one of the region's most recognized trade businesses over the past 18 years, growing it to a team of 40+ with a full-scale finishing shop and training facility. For nearly a decade he has hosted Ask a Painter Live weekly, championing the trades and entrepreneurship as a path to freedom.
Nikki Roberts
Owner, Starlight Productions
Nikki brings professional touring and performance experience from around the world to her work right here in New Prague. At Starlight, she teaches voice, piano, and group performance while directing productions that focus on storytelling, professionalism, and helping performers discover their confidence.
Ben Bryant
Owner, Superior Ponds
Ben has connected over 430 families across the Twin Cities and southern Minnesota to the joy of water features — and kept them connected year after year through his focus on maintenance and care. A nationally traveled pond professional and proud New Prague local, Ben knows what it means to build something that lasts.
Chloe Jones
Owner, Honey Lou Boutique
Chloe is 24 years old, born and raised in New Prague, and proof that you don't have to wait to build something meaningful. She launched Honey Lou online in 2023 and opened a storefront in 2024 — creating a shopping experience built around comfort, affordability, and community.
Jason Lang
Lead Pastor, Word of Life Church
Jason has lived and led across the country before putting down roots in Henderson, MN. He speaks at youth camps and conferences nationwide and is known for his ability to connect with people across backgrounds. He brings a lifetime of lessons in leadership, community, and showing up for people.
