God is teaching us about faithfulness through some women in scripture, women to whom God has been faithful to. This week Jesus has dinner at Martha's house and Jesus delivers the good stuff and he won't take it away from Mary who sits at His feet while Martha does all the work. Jesus gives the good stuff to us too, sit back and receive it.

Today we are starting a new message series called "Faithful". Over the next few weeks we will be taking a closer look at some faithful women in the Bible, hearing from God's Word how He develops faithfulness in all of us. Today we meet Deborah and Jael and we see God rescue His people. And it's my hope that as we hear God's Word that He will grow us as faithful followers of the Lord.

Today we are looking back at some of the blessings of 2022 and looking forward where God is leading us in 2023. You have invited and welcomed so many people to join Word of Life this year. You have given your time, donations, and service generously. And you have been telling friends and neighbors about Jesus changing our lives. It reminds me of this time Jesus was talking with a woman and she told her whole town that Jesus was the Messiah and so many people believed. We are discussing the woman at the well and her invitation to come and see Jesus.

It doesn't matter who your relationship is with, husband, wife, parents, friends, girlfriend, brother, someone you work with, or go to school with - we need to forgive on another. And you're right, I don't know what they did to you, but we need to forgive as God has forgiven us. Yep, today we are talking about Forgiveness. You are forgiven and you get to forgive everyone who sins against you too.
