Christmas Day - Christ - Luke 2:1-21 & John 1:1-18
Sometimes I think Christmas is for children. We talk about the birth of Jesus and celebrate with presents. Kids love presents. But the birth of CHRIST wasn’t the beginning of Jesus. He is and always has been the Son of God eternal, and everyone who receives Him, who believes in Him, is made a child of God. So yeah, I guess CHRISTmas is for all of us children of God.

Christmas Eve - Christ - Matthew 1:18-25
What are you afraid of? Beyond the fear of spiders or things that go bump in the night, what are you afraid of? Are you afraid of doing it wrong, of what everyone will think or say when they hear what you did? That’s what Joseph was afraid of. But God said, “Do not fear.” Do not fear marrying Mary. The baby is God’s Son and you will name Him Jesus, for he will save people from their sins. That baby is Jesus CHRIST. Do not fear.

Love - Mark 11:1-11
Advent is all about the coming of Christ Jesus. So why are we talking about the day Jesus rode into Jerusalem? Isn’t that a Palm Sunday story? From Christmas to Good Friday, Jesus shows His LOVE for us. Jesus is the Savior we need, even if we didn’t expect a Savior who died for us. And Jesus is coming back again for us too. God sent His one and only Son to be the Savior of the world because He LOVES us.
