In Galatians 2 we get to hear a little of the Apostle Paul's life and we even get to hear about an argument that Paul has with Peter. Peter was wrong. Peter sinned. I love that God doesn't hesitate to share people's failures to show God's forgiveness. We hear without a doubt, doing good stuff doesn't earn us justification. The Law's job is to kill us, so God can make us alive in Christ Jesus and declare us righteous in His eyes. God gets all the credit.
The Only Gospel - Galatians 1:1-24
Good morning Word of Life, we are kicking off a new series today, Christ in Us. As we hear God speak in Galatians, we will hear that this letter is for us too. Galatians is all about God's message of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus gives Himself for the forgiveness of our sins. Church Rock - Matthew 16:13-20
What do people say about you? Do people know the real you? Jesus had the same issue, people said all sorts of crazy stuff about Him too. Today we hear what Peter says about Jesus (and Jesus says Peter's faith came straight from God). Jesus is the Christ, the Savior and that's what the Church is all about.

Who is your friend? What makes a friend a friend? What are friends for? We get to hear a story about some friends who bring a friend in need to Jesus. Friends bring friends to Jesus. We are the church. We get to be those friends who bring friends to Jesus. That's us being the church.
