Set Free - Galatians 5
Do you ever feel not good enough? Not good enough for God, not good enough to be forgiven? Christ sets us free from that "good enough" stuff. It's never Christ + that gives us salvation. We are set free from slavery to sin by faith in Christ. Only Christ.
Warning: This message talks about some graphic stuff regarding circumcision. Did Paul actually say he hopes they cut their members off? Yep. Paul would rather these legalistic circumcision fanatics cut the whole thing off rather than distorting the Gospel.

Why do we want to do it on our own? Why do we think we can make someone love us if we do the right thing? Why do we think we can make God love us by being "good enough"? God knows us, and he still loves us. Today we confess our own plans and hear God's love for us.

Live by Faith - Galatians 3:1-14
I love being right, like all the time, but what makes us right in God's eyes? Were you made right with God by doing good stuff? Were you justified (just as if I'd never sinned) by the works of the Law? No. Jesus has taken sin's curse upon Himself on the cross so we can be justified. We are declared righteous through faith in Jesus Christ. So why do some of us think of the Law? The righteous live by faith.
