Jesus Baptized - Matthew 3:11-17

Before Jesus' public ministry kicked off, he got baptized by John the Baptizer. And what a day that was, Jesus getting baptized, the Holy Spirit descending in the form of a dove and God the Father speaking from heaven, "That's My Son!" And God says to us today, "to all who received Him, who believe in His name, He gave the right to become children of God."

Look! the Lamb of God - John 1:29-42

"Made you look!" always makes me feel like an idiot. In the early years of Jesus' ministry John the Baptizer (cool nickname) wasn't concerned with people following him, no, John was pointing his best friends to follow Jesus. Jesus is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Not just hiding our sin and shame, Jesus actually takes our sin away and God declares us forgiven.
