We hear John crying out to a bunch of people in the wild and life gets pretty rough out there. People just like us, life doesn’t go as planned for us either. We hear God speaking through John saying “turn around and receive forgiveness of sins” God is promising forgiveness to the baptized believers and that gives birth to repentance.
