Have you ever asked yourself who you're serving? Jesus boldly serves us even to the point of laying down His life for us. Jesus shows us a life of serving God and our neighbors. But if we are honest with ourselves, we are often living to serve ourselves, our wants. And who we serve reveals who we love. Recorded live at Word of Life Church in Le Sueur, Minnesota, on Sunday, August 30, 2026, with Pastor Nick Olson preaching.
Scared to Serve? - Matthew 25:14-30
Jesus tells us a story about a few servants who have different results when it comes to serving their Master. One person is so scared to do it wrong that they don't serve God at all. Have you ever been scared to serve? At it's heart, when we are scared to serve God, we have a wrong idea of who God is and what God does. What has God given you and how are you serving Him with it? Recorded live at Word of Life Church in Le Sueur, Minnesota, on Sunday, August 23, 2026, with Pastor Jason Lang preaching.
Everyone Serves - Romans 12:1-8
God gives everyone spiritual gifts to serve Him and the church. What gifts has God given you and how are you using them to serve God and your neighbor? Recorded live at Word of Life Church in Le Sueur, Minnesota, on Sunday, August 16, 2026, with Pastor Nick Olson preaching.
Serve Now? - Luke 4:38-41
Wait! What?! Now?! Serve now? I love Simon's mother-in-law's serving heart and serving timing. One minute she is sick in bed, the next she is serving dinner to Jesus and the guys. If you have been waiting for the time to get involved, now's the time! We get to serve God and our neighbors right now. Recorded live at Word of Life Church in Le Sueur, Minnesota, on Sunday, August 9, 2026, with Pastor Jason Lang preaching.
Jesus Stays with Us - Psalm 22
Have you ever felt alone? Like everyone you depend on has abandoned you? Psalm 42 predict that Jesus would be "forsaken" as He suffered on the cross and gave His life for us. Jesus was forsaken so we never have to experience that with God. Jesus promises He will never leave us or forsake us. Jesus thank you for promising to be with us, help us to rely on you when we feel all alone. Recorded live at Word of Life Church in Le Sueur, Minnesota, on Sunday, July 26, 2026, with Pastor Jason Lang preaching.
