What if random acts of kindness aren't really random? What if God had planned them all along? We are saved by grace through faith, it's God's gift so we can't take any credit. But God isn't finished, we are God's workmanship, God is still working on us, and He is preparing good stuff for us to do for our neighbors. God doesn't need our good works but our neighbors do.

Today we see Shiny Jesus and we worship Him. Worship is great, we love this and we all want to stay here. But Jesus leads us into the valley where hurting people need Jesus. People arguing, a hurting dad and a son suffering from the effects of evil. All things are possible for the one who believes, because Jesus is there. Jesus is with us wherever we go. What would tomorrow look like if we started seeking God’s kingdom first? Not my kingdom first, not my work first, not even my kids first? God knows what you need, and He loves you. Seek Him and His kingdom and you will find God right there with you.
